PictureWinners of the IFGW 2014 awards in Dublin today!
It was great news for food producers in Cork today with the announcement of the IFWG Food Award winners. 6 of the 7 winners announced were from the Rebel County and we were proud that Coolea Matured Farmhouse Cheese was a part of it!

The awards took place in Dublin today, with 7 awards being granted to different producers, organisations or individuals. Winners did not enter themselves making this award all the more special as the winners were nominated and chosen by members of the Guild.

At the Awards which were supported by Bord Bia, Derry Clarke, executive chef at l'Ecrivain, created a lunch for the winners and members of the Guild containing all the winning products which was delectable!

Of course, we are beyond proud here but we'd also like to congratulate all the other fantastic winners. It was great to meet everybody and get to know eachother. The weather perfectly reflected the mood today as the sun shone on while we chatted with other producers and ate delicious food!

For more information on the other winners, or the IFGW, see their website here!
